Product description
12kg Bulk Cat Litter for Multi-Cat Homes — Pick Your Scent, Stop Reordering Every Two Weeks
One 12kg kraft paper bag covers 4 to 6 weeks of litter for a 2-cat household, at a lower per-kg cost than our 2.4kg packs. Choose the formula that fits your cat — Vanilla White Tea, Green Tea, Cassava (unscented), or our new Fig — and switch off the "we're out of litter" panic for good.
- Bag weight: 12 kg (26.46 lb)
- Coverage: 4–6 weeks (2-cat home) · roughly 8–12 weeks (1 cat)
- Granule size: 1.5 mm (Cassava ~2 mm)
- Made in: China · Brand: Noisy Lion
Who this is best for: households with 2 or more cats, anyone tired of buying litter every 2 weeks, and eco-conscious shoppers who want plant-based litter without the 2.4kg-pack premium.
Pick the scent that fits your cat (this is the only hard decision)
All four use the same plant-based base and deliver S+ odor control. The difference is what's added — and which cats it suits best.
Vanilla White Tea
Gentle vanilla white tea microcapsules. Pea fiber + corn starch tofu base. Flushable.
Best for: multi-cat homes that want a soft, pleasant scent without anything harsh.
Green Tea
Made with real green tea leaf for a clean tea note. Flushable.
Best for: homes that prefer a clean tea note over vanilla, and want extra odor defense.
Cassava
Cassava + volcanic rock blend. Zero added fragrance — just the natural scent of cassava. Not flushable. Fill at least 3 inches (7 cm) deep — a shallow bed lets clumps set against the pan instead of lifting out.
Those blue flecks are volcanic rock
Open the bag and you will see scattered blue granules through the white. That is crushed Borichi volcanic rock — just 1–2% of every bag. It is a mineral, not a dye and not a fragrance. Volcanic rock is porous, so it traps odour inside the granule instead of masking it with perfume. Together with baking soda, it is what does the work on ammonia.
Best for: scent-sensitive cats, allergy-prone households, or owners who simply prefer no scent.
Fig
Tofu base with 5% real fig fiber. No artificial fragrance, no deodorizer pellets. Flushable.
Best for: kittens, senior cats, sensitive cats, and eco-conscious shoppers who read every ingredient.
Still not sure? White Tea is our best-seller and pleases most cats. If yours is sensitive to fragrance or you're not sure, go Cassava (unscented) or Fig (no added fragrance).
Why the 12kg bag is the smart move
The 12kg bag is priced below the per-kg rate of 2.4kg packs. Same litter, lower cost — that's it.
Stop the every-other-week reorder cycle. Buy one bag, forget about litter for over a month.
One kraft paper bag instead of 5 small ones. Smaller carbon footprint per kg of litter.
Same formulas as our 2.4kg packs — S+ odor control, fast clumping — just packaged for households that use more. Tofu scents are lab-verified 99.9% dust-free; cassava is low-dust.
12kg vs. 2.4kg — which size do you need?
| Category | 12kg Bulk Bag | 2.4kg Cubic Pack |
|---|---|---|
| Best for | 2+ cats, predictable usage, fewer reorders | Single cat, first-time buyers, testing a new scent |
| Coverage | 4–6 weeks (2 cats) · roughly 8–12 weeks (1 cat) | ~2–3 weeks (2 cats) · 4 weeks (1 cat) |
| Per-kg cost | Lower than 2-packs | Higher, but lower upfront spend |
| Storage | One bag — needs ~12 L of shelf space | Small box, fits anywhere |
| Reorder frequency | Once a month or less | Every 2 weeks |
What's inside (no proprietary mystery blends)
We publish formulas because we have nothing to hide. All four start from plant-based materials.
- White Tea: Tofu litter granules (70%, pea fiber + corn starch), bentonite (25%), vanilla white tea + odor factors (5%)
- Green Tea: Tea-leaf tofu granules (65%), bentonite (30%), polymer + small sand + sea foam stone (5%)
- Cassava: Cassava sand base (83% — wheat/cassava/corn starch + quartz sand), baking soda (7%), blue volcanic stone (10%)
- Fig: Fig powder, pea husk, okara (soy fiber), volcanic rock, millet sand, pumice — no artificial fragrance, no deodorizer pellets
FAQ
How long does one 12kg bag last?
2-cat home: 4–6 weeks. Single-cat home: roughly 8–12 weeks. 3+ cats: about 3–4 weeks. Depends on how deep you fill the box and how often you scoop.
Are all 4 scents flushable?
White Tea, Green Tea, and Fig are tofu-based and flushable in small amounts (check your local plumbing first). Cassava is NOT flushable — dispose of it in regular garbage.
Which scent should I choose for a kitten?
Fig or Cassava. Both have zero added fragrance and no deodorizer pellets, which is what you want for young cats with developing scent sensitivity.
How is 12kg different from the 2× 6-Pack Bundle?
The 2× 6-Pack Bundle is 12 individual 2.4kg bags (28.8kg total) — best for very heavy use or households running 3+ litter boxes. The 12kg single bag is more compact, lower price point, and easier to store. Pick 12kg if 4–6 weeks of supply is your sweet spot.
Where is it made?
Manufactured in China by our verified supplier. Tested in Canada by CTI lab — see the Noisy Lion Standard for the full report.
What's the return policy?
Our no-reason refund covers a first-time customer's 2-pack, so 12 kg bags aren't eligible for it. If a bag arrives damaged, defective or wrong, email us a photo and we'll replace or refund it. See our refund policy for details.
