The shelters we donate to, the bags we send, and why.
Noisy Lion is Canadian-invented and operated from Mississauga, Ontario. A working part of that identity is direct product donation to Canadian animal shelters — not a CSR line item, just the cat litter our partners need to do their work.
July 2026: Animal Aid & Adoption
In July 2026 we delivered 8 × 12 kg bags — 96 kg of Noisy Lion plant-based tofu litter to Animal Aid & Adoption, a foster-based cat rescue serving York Region, Ontario (Thornhill and Richmond Hill). We also included a set of take-home adoption packs — one bag for each cat heading to a new home. The timing matters: the donation lands during kitten season, when a foster-based rescue's litter demand is at its highest.

Why direct product donation
Cash donations get spent on whatever a shelter needs most. That's useful, but it doesn't put our specific product in front of cats who genuinely benefit from it.
Plant-based, lab-verified 99.9% dust-free litter (Noisy Lion CTI report A2260218535101001E) makes a measurable difference for shelter cats — many of whom arrive with respiratory issues, asthma, or other conditions worsened by clay-litter dust. Our donations go where our science fits.
What we won't pretend
Noisy Lion is a small Canadian brand, not a national charity. We don't claim percentages of revenue donated or year-over-year quotas. What we publish here is what we actually delivered, by date, by partner, with the bag count. Looking forward
The 2025 holiday donation set the baseline; the July 2026 Animal Aid & Adoption donation is the first of our 2026 partnerships. The plan is to keep growing the partner list, add a quarterly cadence to high-need shelters, and continue donating from the same product line we sell to Canadian households — not a separate "donation grade" SKU.
